Bite-Back
blue o two help Bite-Back 'Breathe Life Into The Oceans'
In May 2011, we signed an exclusive Red Sea partnership agreement with UK shark and marine conservation charity, Bite-Back, to help collect £10,000 a year onboard our Red Sea fleet.
These donations will contribute towards the cost of their invaluable work in raising awareness of threatened marine species to the likes of major UK supermarket chains and restaurants, with the backing of celebrity chef's such as Gordon Ramsey and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
'Breathe Life Into The Oceans' (BLITO) is a campaign whereby divers can donate a 20p levy per air fill they have whilst diving on our vessels. In return they receive a Bite-Back tank/car sticker and a log book stamp to document their kind contribution to the cause.
Total raised for Bite-Back so far: £16,473!
A huge 'thank you' to everyone who has contributed so far - your kindness really does make a difference!!! Remember, you don't have to wait until your next blue o two trip to donate - please visit the Bite-Back WEBSITE to find out more and donate now!

Project Aware
blue o two is an official partner of the Project AWARE Foundation.
Project AWARE (Aquatic World Awareness, Responsibility and Education) works to preserve precious aquatic habitats and protect them for future generations. It is the dive industries leading non-profit organisation committed to conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy and action.
As divers we enjoy the beauty and diversity of the underwater world, but we also see first hand the consequences that come from neglecting and damaging the aquatic environment and its ecosystems.
Supporting Project AWARE is just one way that we can help to give something back to the marine environment that we enjoy and love so that future generations also get this privilege.

Red Sea Sharks
blue o two are proud to support the Red Sea Sharks trust, founded by blue o two dive guide and biologist Dr. Elke Bojanowski Ph.D.
May 2012 welcomed an exclusive partnership agreement with Red Sea Sharks, a charity funded research organisation dedicated to the shark species of the Red Sea, to contribute donations to help fund their ongoing research efforts.
The Red Sea Sharks trust provides information and education on sharks and their worldwide situation. By continuing its research on Red Sea sharks, using such diverse methods as a volunteer monitoring program, photo-identification, electronic tracking, and dedicated surveys, the trust hopes to gain a more comprehensive picture of shark movements throughout the Red Sea region.
Donations towards the expanding work of the Red Sea Sharks trust will be collected by members of the blue o two fleet teams on board the blue o two Red Sea liveaboards.
To find out more about Red Sea Sharks and the work of the trust, upload your own shark images or even adopt a shark, please follow the link to their website HERE.
Current total raised for Red Sea Sharks: £7,340!!
