Lucky raffle prize winner John Ferguson was picked from the hat to win a luxury blue o two Red Sea liveaboard holiday for two people, just by supporting Plastic Oceans!
Blue o two were delighted to support the worthy charity by offering this prize on the new
M/Y blue Voyager, launched in April.
"The Plastic Oceans Foundation is a new charity and we rely on support from individuals and organizations such as blue o two. The generosity of Jason and blue o two was amazing and it has enabled us to not only raise much needed funding but also spread the word of the issues surrounding plastic waste in our oceans. We cannot thank them enough." says David Jones of Plastic Oceans.
The raffle was promoted at the Big Scuba Show, LIDS and at Dive Fest. The money will help Plastic Oceans to continue to support ideas to reduce the plastic waste that currently is having a devastating effect on our ocean environment. The main emphasis at the moment is the filming and production of the Plastic Oceans documentary which will enable them to explain to millions of people what the problems are and what we can do about it.
