In line with HEPCA's most prestigious South Development project an enormous concession for waste management for 300 kilometres of coastline has been secured from the Red Sea Governorate.

Hepca will be responsible for supplying and implementing a proper management plan, providing the resources needed, building another waste management plant and creating proper dump sites for the area between Port Ghalib and Wadi Lahami. The benefits of this project are enormous with both socio-economic and environmental advantages.

Last week in Port Ghalib, the signing of the protocol was attended by the Investors Union of the South, the Mayor of Marsa Alam, the Red Sea Governor and the head of the city council and many others involved in the coastal development.
