Time:: GMT + 2 hour (Wintertime), BST + 1 hour (Summertime) - No daylight saving in Sudan

Passport & VISA:: Passports must be valid for at least 6 months and should NOT contain an Israel visa of immigration stamps affixed to it. All visitors must obtain a tourist visa for Egypt and Sudan upon arrival. Language: Arabic and English (Official languages).

Currency: :Sudanese Pounds (SDG), consisting of bank notes & coins - 1 SDG = 100 qirush

Electricity: :European two-pin or English three-pin (rarer), 230V / 50Hz
