16th April 2012:
"Thank you for organising the holiday for us. We had absolutely no problems whatsoever. Everything went super smoothly. The boat was excellent and the service we received was first rate. The guys on the boat could not do enough for you - they really took all the stressful bits out of diving with all the little things like helping with wetsuits and tanks to making tea and coffee after the dive. The morning wake up with a cup of coffee is an especially nice touch.

Unfortunately the diving wasnt that great as the visibility was poor - but that is pot luck so hey ho. An outstanding holiday nonetheless and we will be booking another livebaoard soon."
Tom.

11th April 2012:
"By the way, as I'm sure you'll see from our records, we've just come back from a week on Blue Melody (hence our enthusiasm for another booking). It was an excellent trip, and in particular I'd like to say how great the crew are. Always there to help when kitting up and getting in and out of the water, and the food was terrific -- I didn't actually expect to get my falafel and ful every day but it was very welcome :-). A deserved winner of liveaboard of the year. Please pass on our greetings and best wishes to everyone on the boat." Sean

"This trip was excellent and extremely well run. Facilities in good condition and all onboard were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Siade (spelling?) filling the cylinders who was very friendly. Loved the environmental lectures. Guides very helpful and friendly." Chris Haddock.

"As a result of spending the week on Blue Melody I have decided to report Blue o Two to the Trading Standards Department. The company needs to be renamed Blue are number 1!

Can you thank Elke and Leo for the great week of diving. All the crew that worked as hard as ever to give us a hassle free week. As a result I am making all the Melody crew honoury members of the Portsmouth FC supporters club. I asked the captain if he wished to have my Pompey flag to fly from the boat along with the Egyptian flag, but declined my fair offer! I intend to return in 2013 complete with a Pompey shirt for all ten of the crew! Also they were chanting "Artif, Artif!" from about Tuesday" My shirts were eventually found also on Tuesday!

The lack of Wi-Fi was the biggest problem but I understand it was beyond Blue O Two's control but still does need to be sorted as some guests missed out on important emails. At least it was not as a big a problem as my camera which packed up five pictures into its first dive and refused to work all week!

I am considering raiding my "car fund" to try and get on a Blue O Two trip again in 2012, but I do have planned trips to Sharm, Devon and hopefully the USA. If Blue O Two could do livaboards in Florida this would really help me!

Can you thank everybody at Blue O Two for all the effort that goes into making sure the weeks diving goes as well as it did, I even got 3 dolphins during my 600th dive what a result! If I can I will travel with O Two again in 2012, if not believe me I will be back in 2013!

Some things blue O Two just cannot arrange, but for the diving you are not the number "2" for livaboards blue O Two are number 1." Matt Shippam.

"The dive guides have both been very helpful and supportive. They have taken time to explain things that I hadn't done before or didn't feel confident about. They have improved my confidence in diving which meant I tried things which I wouldn't have before meaning I can now get more out of my diving. The course I completed were very well taught. It was good to have varied vegetarian food." Victoria Byrne.

20th January 2012: HAYAH Reef clean up
"Can't fault the service at all. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful. It's great to have a chat with the captain every now and then, on most vessels you rarely see the captain let alone be able to talk to him. Capt Mohamed was very was very social has were all his crew and guides. Will definately be using your service again very soon both personally and professionally. Thanks for a very enjoyable trip." Steve Wilkinson and Vasilisa Skripnik.

"This was my very first liveaboard and I'm thrilled to say it's left me hungry for more!

I especially wanted to highlight three members of crew on the Melody who made our week an absolute pleasure - Mohammed, the Captain; Ali the deputy Captain; and Walid the housekeeping manager. I was left in absolute awe of how hard they worked to make our week special, always with a smile on their face, and always happy to help with anything we needed.

Mohammed was an excellent and very skilled captain who inspired us all with his own diving experiences; Ali was an incredibly thoughtful and considerate member of crew who not only managed to get the entire boatful of divers kitted up 4 times a day, but also was genuinely kind and lovely and watched over anyone who had any problems; Walid was just adorable, so kind and hard-working.

In fact the whole crew were a credit to Blue O Two, and kudos must be given to the incredible kitchen staff - I don't know how they did it from the tiny kitchen, but they produced consistently delicious food which was of a higher quality than some of the best restaurants I've visited across Egypt and the Middle East. They were amazing!

Finally, I'd like to highlight how wonderful our guides; Chris, Chrissie and Charles were - all three were really friendly and knowledgable in their own different areas, and Chris's afternoon lectures were wonderfully insightful.

I'd have no hesitation in using Blue O Two again if the same lovely staff were there to greet me the next time I get to go on the Melody - saving up already!!" Lara Page.

30 Dec 2011: North and Ras Mohamed
"Just back from a fab week out on Blue Melody, thanks to Captain Mohammed, the crew, Achmed, Chrissie and of course Fifi for making the week so seemlessly enjoyable! Pods of Dolphins on Shagg Rock and Ghiannis D made it extra special!" Paul Brockle.

11 Nov 2011
"My overall experience was 10/10. What a crew - they are a credit to you. Everyone onboard went out of their way to help. Makes a change when guides take the time to actually come in the water with you. Bella safaris have lost me as a customer - blue o two from now on. Learnt a lot about sharks on the first week thanks to Elke. Dray and Chrissy did a fantastic job on the second week. All in all a 5* holiday, we will be back." Kevin Newman.

11 Nov 2011
"All staff and crew are very professional and helpful with all aspects onboard. All very attentive in assisting with getting ready for diving. Very supportive with guiding (knowledgable) and buddying when needed.

Diving has been amazing. Northern Wrecks & Reefs is a varied itinerary enabling excellent wrecks including the Thistlegorm and the best od the reefs as well. Seeing dolphins at shag rock - kingston wreck was the highlight of the holiday for me!

The timing of all dives and meals was spot on - didn't feel rushed at any point on the holiday, but still managed to fit a lot in. Fabulous diving. Great atmosphere onboard the boat - everyone chatty & friendly, made it a great holiday with lots of laughs. Thanks for everything, I had a great holiday - see you again soon!" Nicola Ursula.

"I felt it was time to email the boss about the outstanding care I received recently on Blue Melody. You already know the service, staff and boats are great, else we wouldn't keep coming back, but I believe it's only when the chips are down that you really see the true colours.

I had a problem on Big Brother and collapsed on the dive deck. I was taken care of fantastically by guides, the chamber in Marsa Alam plus Fefe and Karen in Hurgurda. Above and beyond what I could have expected. It just shows that Blue O2 take safety as well as customer enjoyment a top priority.

I had type 2 DCS and ended up back in the chamber in the UK as well, completing over 16 hours, but I'm recovered now but no diving for 3 months. My dive buddy, Nik, had to cancel last minute so fingers crossed we'll both get insurance money back and we know where we'll be rebooking.... Blue O2 all the way!

Feel free to post this on your site, as I truly believe that your potential customers would like to know that even when things go wrong, Blue O2 are the best!

Please pass on my thanks to all the team for a wonderfully job for which I am extremely grateful!" Craig Hughes

"Thank you for the email!....sadly I cannot get to the NEC, but I have entered the competition, and I will wear my lovely starfish O2 T shirt that weekend...it will cheer me up for not being there!

I am really excited to be going back out 18th -25th on Blue Horizon with Elke again....met her last year on my 1st ever Blue O liveaboard ( Blue Melody) ...and saw 11 hammerheads!! ...that is a 'Blue' dive that will live with me forever! As if I'm not excited enough, I will be jumping in on my 200th dive on the trip! I only qualified in March '09, but have become addicted, doing as much as I can here in the UK!...but it will be thrilling to get back into the clear blue Red Sea.

ooops! ...gone on a bit, I do have a habit of chatting....so much so that my dive-stamp is a starfish, with mask & snorkel, and the words....- " Been Quiet- Been Diving - Sue B''...around the edge... All the best for the dive show...!"Sue Batchelor

22-30 July 2011: Deep South Borderlands
Our group have just returned from our trip aboard MY Blue Melody on the Deep South Borderlands itinerary. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making such a memorable diving holiday for us all. The diving was, as expected, excellent visiting some of the most untouched areas of the southern Red Sea.

The quality of accommodation, service and food on MY Blue Melody was just exceptional, catering all for the guests differing needs. The dive guides, Dray and Anders, were knowledgeable, professional and added just the right amount of humour at the right times. The crew couldn't have looked after us better.

I would also like to personally thank Georgina Thompson (Dive Travel Consultant) who assisted me in the organising the trip from an early stage. She was such a valuable point of contact, she elevated all the anxieties that can be experienced as an organiser. Mark Milligan.

17th June 2011: Project Shark: Simply The Best
"The shark lectures were one of the highlights of the week - very imformative and professionanlly delivered. I would definately book this kind of trip again if the same level of expertise was on offer.!"Catherine Stone

3rd June 2011: Project Shark: Simply The Best
The shark presentations by Elke were really informative and should be kept!!"Lwanga Phillip.

3rd June 2011: Project Shark: Simply The Best
"I flew in from Singapore (a 12 hour flight) just to dive in the Red Sea. From booking to pick-up and transfers, to the actual diving and life around the vessel, everything has been FANTASTIC! The off-shore staff & boat crew went out of their way to make things comfortable for us. The shark conservation project was a invaluable touch. Learnt a lot. Thanks Blue O2 - you run a great operation. No wonder you are highly recommended!"Tyrone Al Meida.

29th April 2011:
The crew were fantastic - very helpful and the boat kept immaculately clean. The food was excellent (last year the food on b/Fin was not so good) and the service faultless. Choice of dive sites and preparation for diving was excellent. We didn't use the guides to guide us, but the briefings were very thorough and realistic. The guides were very helpful to anyone having problems with equipment etc... NB. Did I say the crew were excellent?!! Special thanks to Amin, Mohammed, Youif (Chef) and Mohammed Abdualah (Captain). Nigel Puttick.

29th March 201: Simply The Best
"Just got back to reality this week after a week on Blue Melody doing 'Simply The Best' trip. Just wanted to say it was a totally amazing trip and truly is the only way to dive!! A massive thanks to all the crew and Chris and Karin for making this voyage a memorable one. Also a personal thanks to Simon for organising it all and making it easy and effortless. Needless to say roll on next trip!! Brilliant and highly recommended. Thanks again to one and all."John Ecclestone via Facebook.

5th November 2010
"Crew very attentive without being in your face. Mohammed and Hassan very good, friendly, effivient. Dive briefings detailed, emphisis on safety, but also diver responsibility. Thoroughly enjoyed Chirs' lectures, learned a lot about conservation - his subject knowledge was considerable. Food better on this trip than previos liveaboards." Lynda Hughes.

15th October 2010
"When you choose a blue o two liveaboard, you know that you will be treated exceptionally well. The guides especially are knowledgeable, experienced and friendly which means they can quickly assess a group and tailor the briefings to the divers. The crew members bend over backwards to help you with your kit - sometimes a bit too overzealous for my taste as i've always tried to be self sufficient in a male dominated diving club! The food is tremendous - the chef made a special dish for me at every meal as I am vegetarian - delicious! The boat is the height of luxury in Red Sea liveaboards. I could never go with anyone else." Paula Nimmo.

2nd July 2010 - The Red Sea in focus with Cameras Underwater
"Diving was amazing, crew/guides were friendly, optimistic and efficient. Everyone on the blue Melody are giving blue o two a very good reputation. It was my first liveaboard and it was definately an amazing experience." Connor Findlow.

21st May 2010
"My partner and I are vegetarian and the chef was very accomadating, preparing delicious and beautiful vegetarian dishes for every meal. Also the dive drew were awesome - from being there to unzip the wesuit (nice touch!), to having Karin and Kevin always ensuring comfort and safety! Sam was an excellent crew member always with a hospitable smile. The dive crew boys are a true team and worked together well making the dive comfort seamless." Gary Osborne.

21st May 2010
"We do not feel that any of this holiday could be improved. As a fairly new diver, I felt safe and my confidence has grown tenfold. Extremely impressed and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thanks." Gillian Garratt.

31st December 2009
"In this competitive market it is very reassuring to find a tour operarator that does not compromise on quality and yet remains competitive price wise. The standard of service from all the staff was exemplorary. The level of interaction between the guides and the guests had exactly the right balance. I particuarly enjoyed the photo workshop and it has definately improved my photo taking. The guests comfort and safety was always paramount." Andrew Askwith.

26th June 2009
"Dray and Karin were very personable and accommodating. Some of the best food and variety we have eaten on a liveaboard. Dive deck crew were most attentive we have ever experienced. We missed our fresh brewed coffee every morning, but we easily adjusted to instant and it was a small price to pay for a week in paradise!."

23rd April 2010 - Deep South
"What an absolutely fantastic holiday we have just had aboard the above vessel. we cannot fault anything in any way shape or form . this was our first liveaboard and will definitely be travelling with you again . the boat , the crew , the guides , the diving , the food , the attention to detail was absolutely top notch . i can see no reason for anyone to complain as i can honestly say the diving and everything was brilliant . dray , kevin , sam and the rest of the crew where brilliant throughout and could not do enough for you . nothing was to much bother and they tried to accomodate everybody in anything they wanted to do . we were particularly impressed with the dive sites the skipper took us to , breathtaking!!! thank you very much." Mr and Mrs D Climpson and Tracie Podger, Oasis Scuba.

9th April 2010 - Northern Wrecks and Reefs
"This trip started with a 7 hour delay which meant we late arriving. To be fair, it wasn't Blue O 2 at fault but the carrier who weren't great. The boat Blue Melody was very nice. The crew were fantastic and looked after us really well. The divinig was great. We were unlucky (lucky) enough to be caught up in the volcanic ash crisis. Blue O 2 were fantastic. They really looked after us. We spent two days on Blue Fin (fantastic boat and my favourite) followed by four days on Blue Horizon so we ended up with the full set. Every boat looks after your needs. We did an extended safari which was also a bonus. This is a fantastic company who cares about its reputation and its clients. I would recommend them to anyone and am booking again for the summer! A converted fan. "

13 March 2009 - Best of Wrecks
"This was our first liveaboard and all we can say to anyone not sure about a liveaboard is do it. We doubt though that all liveaboards can be as good as Blue Melody which exceeded all our expectations. The food was fantastic, three delicious meals a day, freshly baked cakes after the afternoon dive etc. The crew could not do enough to help, if you tried to do up your own fin straps it was almost an offence and someone rushed to do it for you. The dive guides were very knowledgable and deliverred very good briefings. They were also very good at not forcing a very experienced group to play follow the leader. They were always available to guide people who wanted it, and in a couple of places they gently ensured they were in the lead of a more difficult/dangerous dive. They got the balance perfectly right. Only having to set your kit up once is fantastic. Roll out of bed grab a tea, check your cylinder is full/the Nitrox mixture is correct and straight into the briefing. The cabins where compact, but large enough for a week. There were many nice touches, the towelling robes which are handy on the dive deck, the hot chocolate after night dives, the fruit juice after every dive, the fresh cakes, the free chocolate/biscuits/soft drinks etc. The only gripe we have was with the airline (Viking). One of our party fainted on the outbound flight and another nearly did on the way back. There was far too little air in the cabin. The leg room was tiny, I would recommend that anyone over 6' pay the extra £25 each way for more leg room. However don't let the last comment put you off; the experience on Blue Melody was fantastic.

5th September 2008 - Project Shark: Brothers & Elphinstone
"I was with our club on Blue O Two's Blue Melody, due to return to the UK on Friday 12th September when XL collapsed. Blue O Two have been outstanding in their customer care, all of us (not only our group) were put up in the Marriott Hotel in Hurghada, kept fully up to date and BO2 even arranged a private transfer to Sharm on Sunday (where the CAA had arranged a flight home) starting off at 8 am rather than the CAA's arranged 30 coach convoy at 1 am. I cannot praise BO2 highly enough and would publicly like to commend them for everything they did for us. We also had a fantastic week prior to all of this, visiting the Brothers , Deadalus and Elphinstone, the shark lectures by Elke were a real bonus, we all learnt so much about these magnificent creatures. Once again thanks to all at BO2, the crew and guides for yet another fantastic week, roll on the next one!" Andy Haynes.

9th May 2008 - HAYAH Reef clean-up
"Hi It was one of the best trips I've made. The best ever guides, their lectures and breifings were very good, and showed their love of the subject.( thanks to you both, you dissapeared before I got to say goodbye) I would have like to have picked up more rubish but most of the sights were fairly clean. As A suggestion would it be posible,to arrange a trip to reseed or tnsplant corals to help in recovery of damaged reefs? Keep up the good work ,hope to join you on another trip later in the year." Les.

9th May 2008 - HAYAH Reef clean-up
"This was my 3rd trip with blue o two and the best yet, there was equal number of male and female divers age thirty something to 72. The banter started on the first day with later being called the Sarga louts. After 8 years of excellent diving in the red sea it was good to be giving something back,we picked up a considerable amount of rubbish off the reef which included large peices of glass, light bulbs, empty sardines tins, netting and fishing line. The lectures on the coral and reef system given by our dive guides was very good and cause much discussion afterwards.I will be looking forward to another HAYAH trip in the future." Alan Scott.

22nd February 2008 - Northern Wrecks & Reefs
"Blue Melody is one of the best luxury boats on the Red Sea as far as I am concerned. This is my favourite in the Blue O Two fleet. I did a Red Sea Wreck tour on Blue Melody in Feb 08 and it was 1st class. One of my best trips to date. The food is outstanding and so are the crew. The crew also helped with kiting up and off and hung your wet suits up for you.... a mind blowing service. I will be back for more ... " Big G.
