QUALIFICATION NEEDED: PADI Open water or equivalent - no minimum number of logged dives required.
This 10 night liveaboard adventure allows up to 32 dives, including up to 5 night dives and combines the Similans with Phi Phi, Hin Daeng and reaches northwards as far as Richelieu Rock.
Diving the west coast of Thailand is probably on the must do agenda for every diver. With interesting topography, created by the rocky boulders, and excellent marine life it is easy to see why. The Similan Islands are best reached by liveaboard dive yacht and this 7 night dive safari combines the Similans with, Phi Phi, Hin Daeng and reaches northwards as far as Richelieu Rock. Manta rays, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp and wondrous soft corals await the eager diver.

Day 1: Board S/Y Oriental Siren at Chalong Harbour, Phuket around 2pm.
Day 2: Phi Phi Islands
Day 3: Koh Ha Yai and Koh Ha Noi.
Day 4: Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.
Day 5: Similan Islands.
Day 6: Similan Islands - Koh Bon and Koh Tachai.
Day 7: Richelieu Rock
Day 8: Similan Islands
Day 9 & 10: Similan Islands
Day 11: Disembark at Chalong Harbour after breakfast.
Diving Highlights...
Koh Bon: This hard rocky substrate, dotted with soft corals, continues to attract large manta rays in for cleaning, several may be seen at one time and they are often inquisitive of divers. Napoleon wrasse, trigger fish, angel fish and yellow snappers are amongst some of the colourful fish that may also be seen at this interesting site. White tip reef sharks can also be found in the deeper water off the edge of the pinnacle.
Richelieu Rock: Famed for its abundance of reddish-purple soft corals, this site continues to appeal to all divers. You will spend the entire day diving here as there is so much to explore. Harlequin shrimp, ghost pipefish, sea horses and schools of barracuda are just some of the fascinating marine life we encounter on a regular basis.
Bida Nok: Full of colourful soft corals, large sea fans and a plethora of different species of reef fish. The site is where you may see schools of barracuda and jacks along with the occasional black tip reef shark.
Elephant Head Rock: The largest of the pinnacles in the Similan National Park where huge boulders create swim throughs and many places to find hiding white tip reef sharks. Kuhls stIngrays, mantis shrimp and numerous crustaceans are all seen here.
