Telephone: Mexico has very good phone and mobile coverage. However, the remote islands where the liveaboard will take you will have no service. The country code is +52 or 0052. Dial +44 or 0044 and remove the first 0 from the area code of the number required to direct dial the UK.

Weather: Mexico is a large country and its weather can vary greatly from one destination to another. In Mexico there are normally two main seasons: the rainy and dry seasons. The rainy season through most of the country falls roughly from May through September/October and also includes the hurricane season (June to November with most of them occurring between August and October). During the rest of the year there is little or no rain. Your liveaboard will take you along the peninsula of Baja and this part of the country has some of the best weather. It's located just far enough north in latitude to avoid the extreme heat and humidity and it is far enough south to avoid the harsh winters. The temperature varies from 16C to 35C with warm days and balmy nights.
