The Pacific coast of Mexico, Baja California offers divers world class diving sites such as Socorro Island, Guadalupe Island and the Sea of Cortez. The Revillagigedo Archipelago (Socorro) will give you some of the best giant manta diving there is in the world and Guadalupe is THE place for great white sharks. In addition, you could combine both these great destinations with exotic locations such as the Sea of Cortez, San Benito Islands and the remote coral atoll of Clipperton, which no other operator offers.

Diving...

Baja California has long been treasured by scuba divers around the world as a unique underwater paradise and offers a varied, surprising and exciting diving. On the Eastern side, the Sea of Cortez hosts a wide range of sea life, from invertebrates to whale sharks and with very comfortable sea and water temperatures throughout most of the year, it makes the diving experience even better!

The Western side is not forgotten and some of your adventures might take you to the San Benito islands, which are considered the best kelp forest diving in the world with the added bonus of playful seals and crystal-blue visibility. The Revillagigedo Archipelago Biosphere Reserve of Socorro, San Benedicto, Roca Partida and Clarion Islands are found 250 miles from the mainland, offering a unique ecosystem which is often nicknamed the 'Mini-Galapagos'.

The Yucatan peninsula on the other side of the country has since the 60's become the Mecca for divers in the Caribbean. The combination of spectacular coral reefs and the exceptional water clarity makes it a diver's heaven.


Land based attractions...

The Pacific coast is world renowned for its beautiful landscapes and luxurious resorts. It has a lot to offer for those who would like to spend a bit more time here, but you could also decide to explore the rest of this vast and diverse country. The Eastern coast is a well-known tourist destination with world-class amenities and resorts and the Yucatan peninsula will please everyone. The area is full of activities from old Mayan sightseeing to great party places and is a perfect destination for all the non-diving members of your family as it has some much activities on offer.

Mexico is truly a destination for everyone and can cater for groups of different interests! If you enjoy water activities (surfing, jet-skiing, boating, diving, etc) and like to relax by the beach, many resorts will fit your expectations. If you are interested in visiting cultural sites, Mexico will also fulfil your dreams with plenty of archaeological sites dating from the Mayan times. For the more energetic, the country also offers fantastic trekking on volcanoes, along the coasts, in forests or in the deserts. For the little ones, it will be a wonderful introduction to the underwater life!
